Intermodal Rail Transport

Air

Full Charter. Moving large volumes of freight, quickly and with flexible schedules.
Part Charter. Don't have enough freight to fill an aircraft? Access the same flexibility, but share the costs with another customer.
On Board Courier. Hire one of our OBCs to carry small packages on scheduled passenger flights, for a rapid delivery and in person.
Consolidation. Combining multiple customs freight to offer a fast but cheaper option to move your freight.

Intermodal

Using multiple modes of transport to move your goods. This is usually a slower, but cheaper service, for moving larger quantities of freight.

We often use intermodal services between the UK and the EU, where the trailer is loaded on a ship to sail across the channel, then loaded onto a train in mainland Europe. Once the trailer is transported to its destination country by rail, it is then offloaded and a truck will pick it for final delivery.

Bonded/ETSF. Some customers will wish to reexport goods or delay distribution due to demand or cash flow. In this case a bonded warehouse is most suited.

Customs

Import Clearance. To clear goods into "free circulation" for sale. Informing customs of the arrival of goods into the country.
Export Clearance. Notifying customs that goods are leaving the country.
Transit Documents. These documents typically allow you to move goods through countries without needing to customs clear them.
EUR1/CoO. There are "Trade Agreements" between certain countries that allow for duty reductions, providing they are manufactured or "processed" in one of the agreeing parties. Customs will require evidence of this.
